Pursuing a career in figure skating is an expensive proposition for any skater. At Sean's current level of skating in the Senior Men's category, a skater's average annual expense to train and compete is $25,000 to $50,000. That includes a professional coach, ice time to practice, skating boots and blades, wardrobe/costumes and travel expenses to attend the competition. And, that’s just the skater, Mom and Dad’s travel expenses are additional.
In other countries, these costs are either subsidized or paid by their governments. In the United States, all of the expense is borne by the skater and his family. Needless to say, it applies a lot of stress and strain on all family members to cover these high costs.You can support Sean's Quest For The Gold by making a tax-deductible donation to:

Glacier Falls Figure Skating Club, Inc., is a tax exempt, non-profit organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, all donations to Sean’s account are tax deductible.Donations may be accepted from both individuals and corporations. The monies received are distributed to assist with training, ice fees, equipment, competition or travel expenses. The Glacier Falls Figure Skating Club charges no fees for this service, and there are no deductions of any kind.
To receive your support, Sean must submit a bill signed by the skater, a parent and head coach. One hundred percent of your donation goes to Sean’s expenses outlined above.
